چکیده

Simultaneous registration and tracking has advantages over other track registration techniques because it is capable of responding to changes in registration errors. The track registration problem is presented for a network of two geographically distributed radars with unknown measurement biases that are xed or slowly varying. The extended Kalman lter that receives unregistered and cluttered plots from the radars and outputs registered tracks, is used to carry out centralized simultaneous registration and tracking. A multisensor probablistic data association lter (PDAF) that combines locally gated plots from the radars is developed to enable the system operate under clutter. The algorithm satis es a number of important registration design criteria.

Simultaneous Registration and Track Fusion for Networked Trackers

Abstract – In simultaneous registration and tracking with multiple radars, measurements from geographically distributed radars must be transmitted to a common location where a multi-input tracker simultaneously estimates registered trajectories and radar biases. However, due to band limited communication links, this architecture is impractical. An alternative is to carry out sensorlevel trackin...

Multiple Target Tracking With a 2-D Radar Using the JPDAF Algorithm and Combined Motion Model

Multiple target tracking (MTT) is taken into account as one of the most important topics in tracking targets with radars. In this paper, the MTT problem is used for estimating the position of multiple targets when a 2-D radar is employed to gather measurements. To do so, the Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter (JPDAF) approach is applied to tracking the position of multiple targets. To ...

Complexity Analysis of Heuristic Pulse Interleaving Algorithms for Multi-Target Tracking with Multiple Simultaneous Receive Beams

This paper presents heuristic pulse interleaving algorithms for multi-target tracking on pulse Doppler phased array radars that can process multiple simultaneous received beams. The pulse interleaving problems for element and subarray level digital beamforming architectures are formulated as the same integer program and the asymptotic time complexities of the algorithms are analyzed.

Multiple Complex Object Tracking Using A Combined Technique

We present a multiple object tracking framework that employs two common methods for tracking and image matching, namely, Multiple Hypothesis Tracking (MHT) and Hausdorff image matching. We use MHT algorithm to track image edges simultaneously. MHT algorithm is capable of tracking multiple edges with limited occlusions and is suitable for resolving any data association uncertainty caused by back...

Decorrelated State Estimation for Distributed Tracking of Interacting Targets in Cluttered Environments

This paper develops a process to construct decorrelated state estimates when tracking in cluttered environments using a distributed fusion architecture. This construction removes correlation with previous state estimates from the current updates in order to use the updates as measurements in the Kalman filter at the global processor. The effects of correlation with other interacting targets are...
